Eva Beatty, LCSW
Eva has been in practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over twenty years in a broad array of clinical settings. Eva obtained a Master’s Degree from the University of Utah. She draws upon her experience in private practice, therapist for inpatient psychiatric unit, and works with Employee Assistance Programs. She has a special interest in the treatment of Mood Disorders i.e., Depression and Anxiety, and has significant experience with ADHD Disorder and BiPolar Disorder. Eva works with individuals, couples and GLBT clients. “I am convinced that when students take advantage of these services, and take the opportunity to learn the needed skills to better manage their emotional and psychological challenges, it will greatly assist them in navigating this critical time of their young lives.” Eva received her Master’s degree at the University of Utah.
Sue Judd, MSSS, ASUDC
Sue has worked for over 25 years in the field of addictions and substance abuse. Involved in administration, treatment review, and direct treatment for addiction recovery in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Sue has worked on college campuses in education and prevention, completed specialized training in dual diagnosis and mood disorders, pain and stress management, and holistic health. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from Utah State University and is licensed advanced substance use disorder counselor with the State of Utah.
After ten years as a founding partner in TurningLeaf, Inc., Sue left TurningLeaf Wellness Center to continue as President of the Board of Recovery Outreach, a non-profit organization, dedicated to helping in the recovery process for addicts and/or those with mental health issues. She works part-time at Therapia doing Aftercare groups as well as working part-time at DSU Health & Wellness Center.
Dan Afualo, LCSW
Dan received his B.S. degree in Sociology and his M.S. degree in Social Work at Brigham Young University. Dan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Utah and a Member of National Association of Social Workers. Dan has worked in the following fields as a therapist; Wilderness Youth Treatment Program, Youth Residential Treatment Center, and Utah State Department of Corrections. He was a member of the National Honor Society, a Club President, and a Salutatorian. Dan works with substance abuse treatment, depression and self- esteem, grief, anger management, stress management and crisis intervention, co-dependency issues, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, adolescents and family therapy.
Russell Bingham, ACMHC
Graduated from SUU in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. He began working with people with disabilities while in college and continued working with this population when he graduated. In 2010 Russell began working for the Division of Child and Family Services. In 2013 he received a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. He has worked at Intermountain Specialized Abuse Treatment where he gained experience working with both perpetrators and victims of abuse. Russell also has experience working with addiction, cognitive behavioral therapy, perfectionism, and self worth issues. He is currently working at Southwest Behavioral Health Center in the Adult Substance Use Disorder program.
